AZ Gun Laws put on BLAST (literally)

The last week in AZ has been full of hard-hitting, lead-filled headlines – from the hostage shooting situation @ Chandler Fashion Square Mall to the ruthless gunning down of Gabrielle Gifford and 13 others in Tucson, AZ gun laws are coming under *serious* fire nationwide. (Yes, ALL PUNS ARE INTENDED.)In AZ, the basic gun law is that anyone (who isn’t a felon/has a restraining order in a domestic abuse case) can purchase a firearm. No need to check for mental stability, character references, or any other standards applied.  Basically any kook off the street can purchase a firearm (and rapid fire accessory) as long as he/she as the $$$.  Indeed, it is the wild, wild west out there.  It’s sad state of affairs when all of the shooters from the past week PURCHASED THEIR FIREARMS LEGALLY before going on their shooting spree. Apparently the shooter of Gabrielle Giffords, Jared Lee Loughner, had 5 previous run-ins with his college campus police & had been expelled from school as he was deemed a danger to others and himself.

With these recent events the people of AZ really have re-think, re-measure, and re-calculate how simple it is to obtain (and retain) a weapon in this state.

$hit, with all of the bangin’ stories you almost overlook the whole mother/daughter molestation/sexual contact with a minor case — the best part is the mother & daughter combo belong to Fulton Brock, a Maricopa County Supervisor.  Being a small business owner myself, I know firsthand how tiresome + time-consuming work is… but DAMN. that household needs some SERIOUS WORK (& help.)
